Katie Groff is a 2012 graduate of Boyertown Area Senior High School, and currently lives in Oley with her husband, Lucas, and three children: Tyler (9), Emily (8) and Conner (5).
Katie has been involved in emergency services starting as a Junior Cadet with Friendship Hook & Ladder (Co.15) where her father was a firefighter. She eventually became a volunteer with the Earl Township fire company with her husband, while working diligently to obtain her Interior Firefighter Certification, Emergency Medical Technician license, and Pump Operations Certification.
Katie recently became a nationally licensed Paramedic, and currently serves as the Emergency Medical Service Captain of Bally Community Ambulance Association where she is employed fulltime.
Katie is trusted, devoted, and an enthusiastic advocate for patient care.
While not serving in her multiple roles as a first responder, you may find Katie with her husband and three children enjoying time together camping.
